Looking for a good Jazz venue in LA.?

Question

I'll be there next week from Tuesday night to Friday night and my boyfriend and I were looking for a nice chill place to kick back and hear some great music. He's been there for the past 2 months and I'm fairly new to the area so we're not sure what's good.
If anyone has a favorite venue, or knows of a good show around that time, let me know! Preferably in the Los Angeles area.
