I love to free style on my sax. I've been only playing for 2 years, so I'm a beginner into the life of jazz.
I like to improvise on G, Bb, C, C#, D, F, and C, D, E, G, A .
What are some more funky, or smooth scales? After playing the same ones for so long, I am now hungering for more. :) please answer if you know. Thanks.

Try with some good book !

For example there is an incredible method for learning jazz language. The method of jazz pianist Barry Harris, is difficult to find. Another good book is "How to improvise" by Hal Crook

Good luck with your playing

Well im a drummer and Im not very good at any other instruments but I have picked up some things. So obviously you have to change your scales with the chord progression. If you learn all your major scales that will help you out a bunch. You can play the major scales in your solos if you lower the 7th note a half step. If you know your major scales you can easily create blues scales by playing the 1,b3,4,b5,5,and 7 of the major scale. These are what I play when ever I mess around. Also your pentatonic scales are very useful. I don't know how to create those but you could probally google it. Hope this helps

You're playing G blues and C pentatonic. Learn harmonic minor for minor 2-5-1's and bebop dominant for the 5 chord of major 2-5-1's

The scale ur playing is g blues. Try doing blues scales starting on different notes of the scale and make the 3rd and 6th note flat
