I think his rendition of "What A Wonderful World" was fantastic. Like maybe better than the original (if I'm allowed to say that lol!)

I really like his style and I was wondering if there are any other Jazz artists similar to him. Thanks in advance for any suggestions. I think Jazz kind of sucks most of the time but I'm really liking some of it.

Kenny G is NOT jazz.

...sigh....

Note"

Not long ago, Kenny G put out a recording where he overdubbed himself on top of a 30+ year old Louis Armstrong record, the track "What a Wonderful World"....When Kenny G decided that it was appropriate for him to defile the music of the man who is probably the greatest jazz musician that has ever lived by spewing his lame-a**, jive, pseudo bluesy, out-of-tune, noodling, wimped out, f*cked up playing all over one of the great Louis's tracks (even one of his lesser ones), he did something that I would not have imagined possible. He, in one move, through his unbelievably pretentious and calloused musical decision to embark on this most cynical of musical paths, sh*t all over the graves of all the musicians past and present who have risked their lives by going out there on the road for years and years developing their own music inspired by the standards of grace that Louis Armstrong brought to every single note he played over an amazing lifetime as a musician. By disrespecting Louis, his legacy and by default, everyone who has ever tried to do something positive with improvised music and what it can be, Kenny G has created a new low point in modern culture - something that we all should be totally embarrassed about...

Try these smooth jazz saxophonists: Boney James, Jessy J, Mindi Abair, Paul Taylor, Eric Darius, Richard Elliot, Steve Cole and Euge Groove. Smooth jazz musicians keep their distance from Kenny G and don't make their music sound exactly the same as his but the music from those I mentioned take at least some influence from the "Songbird" star.

Enjoy!

any dentist office or elevator

Incidentally, Kenny's version of What A Wonderful World earned him the unending scorn of most of the jazz world, including the famous jazz guitarist Pat Metheney

I would try you tube, they usually have a lot of popular songs and artists show up on the right side of the screen when you're searching for jazz. Check it out.

of direction - you in actuality might desire to desire to a million. get the music 2. see if it somewhat is going to be transposed. 3. regardless of if it somewhat is in actuality too low for C flute, then you definately somewhat will % an alto flute - that will enhance yet yet another question approximately doing the transposition. Frankly, there is plenty outstanding music for flute, i do now no longer understand why you may concern with the music of somebody that we extreme artists ridicule as trite and mindless. yet - your determination. Publishers alongside with Hal Leonard generally take care of the variety of pop stuff - hit the internet shops and go searching.
